Today i read about a particular column posted on My San Antonio on a lady who has a problem with a femlae dog she picked up running astray off the highway in Pleasanton.
The post highlights the concern on very active dogs who have no problem jumping over common fence line and the danger of them getting hit by cars.
This is a very real issue and besides training the dog with verbal commands, the other viable option would be to installl an invisible dog fence so your dog can be kept safe within your yard while still having enough leeway and freedom to run around in a big area.
